Two injured in Fairfax crash at VT 104 and River Road

FAIRFAX — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision with minor injuries at the intersection of VT 104 and River Road on Saturday at 3:54 p.m.

A juvenile driver from Colchester, with passenger Noah Bracket of Johnson, lost control of a 2019 Toyota Corolla while attempting to turn onto River Rd.

The vehicle accelerated too quickly, veered off the road, and crashed into the guard rail on the westbound lane.

Both the driver and Bracket, who were wearing seatbelts, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Northwestern Medical Center.

The car sustained heavy front-end damage.

Clear skies and wet road conditions were reported at the time of the incident.

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Game Warden Service, Fairfax Fire Department, and Fairfax Rescue provided assistance at the crash scene.
