CHELSEA — In the aftermath of gunfire that targeted two local homes on Jan. 30, a Chelsea man has been apprehended following a 10-day intensive investigation.
Timothy Ramos, 28, was taken into custody after he was found concealing himself in Dorchester, MA.
Authorities launched an extensive manhunt that concluded with Ramos’ arrest.
Ramos faces multiple charges, including two counts of armed assault to murder, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, and violating a restraining order (RO).
The Chelsea Police Department, aided by the Everett Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (MSP VFAS), and Boston Police Department, were instrumental in the resolution of this case.
Officials extend their gratitude to all the personnel involved in the investigation and subsequent arrest.
As with all legal matters, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
