BRIDPORT — A tragic single-vehicle crash occurred on Lake Street in Bridport, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Tyler A. Brouillard from Bridport, VT.
Vermont State Troopers, along with local fire and rescue squads, responded to the scene at 3284 Lake Street.
Upon arrival and following an initial investigation, it was determined that Brouillard’s 2013 Dodge Dart was traveling north when it veered off the road onto the shoulder.
The vehicle then overcorrected, crossing the center of the road and exiting the west side of Lake Street, where it began to roll.
Brouillard was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries.
The Crash Reconstruction Team and Drone Team were deployed to survey the scene, leading to a temporary complete blockage of Lake Street.
The investigation into this crash is ongoing, and the Vermont State Police are seeking information from the public.
