PLYMPTON — Plympton Police Department’s midnight shift officers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a rollover at the intersection of Main Street and Ring Road, where they subsequently charged the driver with multiple offenses.
Authorities arrived at the scene to find a vehicle overturned, which led to an extended road closure as they conducted an investigation.
The driver, whose identity has not been released pending further inquiries, is facing charges including operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation, according to police reports.
As of now, the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
Police have not provided additional details about the crash, including whether any other vehicles were involved or if there were any injuries sustained by the operator or others.
