BOSTON — Officers from East Boston have arrested 36-year-old Brandon Frazier on charges of armed robbery following an incident on Monday.
At about 6:56 p.m. on Nov. 20, police responded to a call at 406 Meridian St. where a victim reported being robbed at knifepoint.
According to authorities, Frazier approached the victim with a knife and demanded money.
When the victim resisted, Frazier allegedly cut a hole in the victim’s pants to take money, a cell phone, and an ATM card.
The victim also reported that Frazier held the knife to his throat demanding the PIN for the ATM card.
After the victim refused to comply, Frazier threw the phone and ATM card to the ground and fled the scene.
Following a brief investigation, officers located Frazier and recovered the weapon purportedly used in the robbery.
Frazier has been charged with armed robbery and carrying a dangerous weapon, specifically a knife.
He is expected to be arraigned at the East Boston District Court.
