LONDONDERRY — A woman with an active trespass notice was arrested on Nov. 19 after threatening police and fire department personnel who were conducting a welfare check at a local property.
At about 10:07 a.m., officers from the Londonderry Police Department (LPD) and members of the Londonderry Fire Department (LFD) responded to a call at 5 Avery Road.
Upon approaching a camper where Brandie Jones, 33, was located, authorities were threatened with violence.
Police report that Jones, who was not permitted to be on the property, opened the door of the camper and warned LPD and LFD members they would be shot if they entered.
The team promptly exited the camper and formed a perimeter for safety.
Following the standoff, an LPD officer established communication with Jones, who surrendered shortly after.
Jones was charged with felony criminal threatening, criminal trespass, and resisting arrest.
She was processed at the police department and held on preventive detention before being transported to the Rockingham County House of Corrections.
No weapons were found at the scene.
Jones remained confined to her camper during the incident, posing no threat to the wider public.
