POULTNEY –– A Danby man was cited for unlawful trespass and violation of an abuse prevention order after troopers responded to a complaint in Poultney on Nov. 1.
Vermont State Police were called to a residence at approximately 9:22 p.m. following reports of trespassing.
Their investigation revealed that 37-year-old Collin Zecher had unlawfully entered a home in violation of a court-issued order.
Zecher was apprehended and is scheduled to appear at Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division to respond to the charges.
The Vermont State Police have withheld the name of the victim in accordance with policies protecting individuals in domestic or sexual assault cases.
