RUTLAND — A 40-year-old man was cited for theft following an incident in Rutland on Sunday.
Authorities say they were notified of a retail theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods at around 4:15 p.m.
Following an investigation, police identified Jake A. Stoutes, of Rutland, as the accused.
He was issued a citation for retail theft and possession of stolen property.
He is scheduled to appear in court on December 18.
