BARNARD — A 55-year-old man from Bethel was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Barnard yesterday.
The crash took place near Vermont Route 12 and Gulf Road at around 3:20 p.m.
The vehicle was seen facing south on top of the guardrail of the southbound lane and several feet south of the intersection.
Police say the vehicle was traveling south on Vermont Route 12 several feet past Gulf Road where it then veered to the right and toward the guardrail.
The vehicle crashed into the guardrail and made its way on top of it.
Police say Paul J. Feeney was uninjured and declined emergency medical care.
Troopers were assisted by the Barnard Fire Department and Sabil & Sons Towing.
