WHEELOCK — A 28-year-old man from Barnet was arrested on a warrant following an incident in Wheelock today.
Authorities say they were notified of a man wandering along Vermont 122, knocking on doors and requesting help from locals at around 1:10 a.m.
Police say they responded to the area shortly after and located Jamie Cates Jr.
Cates was wanted on an outstanding warrant for the original charge of violation of conditions of release.
Ironically, Cates was found actively violating additional conditions of release.
He was taken into custody for violation of conditions of release.
He was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury barracks for processing, where he received two separate citations and court dates for the charges of violation of conditions of release.
He was then transported to Northeast Correctional Complex where he was held on a $100 bail.
