HAMPTON FALLS –– Authorities are asking for public help to identify the driver of a hit and run accident that occurred on Rt. 1 in Hampton Falls.
According to the Hampton Falls Police Department, the incident happened recently and the vehicle fled, traveling east on Rt. 101 towards Hampton Beach.
The police are now seeking to identify the operator of the vehicle involved.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2008-2012 Ford Escape, described as light tan in color, with rear tinted windows and a New Hampshire license plate of six or seven digits.
The operator of the vehicle was described as a white male, likely in his 50s, bald, with a jet black goatee.
