Four suspects arrested, three vehicles recovered in Hampstead burglary case

HAMPSTEAD –– A six-month investigation into a major burglary at DC Motors on Stage Road has led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of three out of four stolen vehicles.

On the morning of March 12, Hampstead Police responded to a reported overnight burglary at DC Motors.

Unknown suspects had broken into the business, smashed the front doors, and stolen four vehicles, two from the showroom floor and two from the exterior lot.

The stolen vehicles were a gray 2014 Dodge Charger, a black 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Track-Hawk, a blue 2018 Range Rover HSC, and a blue 2021 Polaris Slingshot.

The Hampstead Police Department’s Detective Division and multiple law enforcement agencies from across New England have been investigating the case.

The three recovered vehicles were found in Providence, RI and at a shipping port in NJ.

On August 31, 24-year-old Kuron Mitchell of Providence, RI, was arrested and charged with burglary, four counts of theft by unauthorized taking, and criminal mischief.

Mitchell was extradited back to New Hampshire and arraigned in the Rockingham County Superior Court on September 1. He is being held on preventative detention.

On September 15, a second suspect, Richard Robinson, 31, also of Providence, RI, was arrested on the same charges.

Robinson was initially taken into custody by the Rhode Island State Sheriff’s Department and later extradited back to New Hampshire. Robinson will be arraigned on Monday, September 18, at 12:30 PM in the Rockingham County Superior Court.

Active warrants have been issued for the remaining two suspects, Belter Giron, 27, and Alberto Rivera, 23, who are currently incarcerated in Rhode Island on unrelated matters.

The investigation has involved the FBI, Providence, Rhode Island Police Department, Cranston, Rhode Island Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the Hampstead Police Department. All four suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
