WESTMINSTER — A 55-year-old man from Brownington was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in Westminster yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop on I-91 north after observing that the driver had invalid registration on his vehicle at around 3:25 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that the driver, identified as Jeffery Jeannette, was driving his vehicle while under the influence of drugs.
Jeannette was placed under arrest for the suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Westminster barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court to answer the charge of DUI drugs #2.
