STOCKBRIDGE — A 26-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Stockbridge yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight at a home on Vermont Route 107 at around 12:55 a.m.
During the investigation, police found probable cause to arrest Brian Schumann, of Stockbridge, for the offense of aggravated domestic assault.
Schumann was taken into custody and transported to the Royalton State Police barracks for processing.
He was later lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
During the arrest, police say Schumann resisted.
He was cited to appear in court.
