ROCKINGHAM — Police are investigating the death of a 76-year-old woman who was found deceased in Rockingham.
Authorities were notified that a woman was found unresponsive below the railroad trestle near Brockway Mills Road at around 2:10 p.m. on September 10.
The victim, identified as a 76-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident, but it is not considered suspicious or criminal in nature.
