RUTLAND — A 40-year-old woman was arrested for her third DUI in Rutland today.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop for an observed motor vehicle violation on US Route 7 at around 1:00 a.m.
The driver was identified as Jessica Brothers, of Rutland.
During the stop, police say they observed indicators of impairment.
Brothers was administered standardized field sobriety tests and taken into custody for DUI.
She was transported to the Rutland State Police barracks for processing and issued a criminal citation to appear in court to answer the charge.
