Three-vehicle crash on US Route 5 in Derby

DERBY — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in Derby.

The crash took place on US Route 5 at around 1:40 p.m. on August 18.

According to the report, Nicholas Rice, 36, of Manchester, NH, started his vehicle moving forward and hit Joelle Mayfield, 37, of Derby, who was then pushed into Mark Wood, 41, of Derby.

Mayfield was then pushed into Wood.

All three vehicles sustained minor damage and were able to drive off.

Rice was issued a ticket during the incident.
