RANDOLPH — A 24-year-old man was arrested for assault following an incident in Randolph earlier this month.
On August 10, authorities say they were notified of an assault on Vermont Route 66 at around 11:25 a.m.
According to the report, Joshua Stone, of Randolph, had assaulted Christopher Stone, 46, of Randolph, and caused bodily injury.
Yesterday, Joshua Stone voluntarily came to the Vermont State Police Royalton barracks and was processed for simple assault.
He was released on a citation to appear in court on September 20.
