EXETER –– A 25-year-old man from Raymond, New Hampshire, died Sunday following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Route 101 westbound near Exit 9.
The accident occurred around 10:19 a.m. on August 6, when Kiel Forgitano lost control of his Aprilia motorcycle, veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
Witnesses at the scene provided medical aid to Forgitano until he was transported to Exeter Hospital, where he later succumbed to his life-threatening injuries.
New Hampshire State Police Troop A, assisted by the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit, Exeter Fire/EMS, and the Exeter Police Department, responded to the incident.
Preliminary investigation indicates that excessive speed may have been a factor in the accident, although the investigation is ongoing.
