NASHUA — The Nashua Police Department arrested 42-year-old Ketan Chitroda of Nashua who turned himself in on a felony arrest warrant for Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon.
On June 9, 2023, officers responded to a gunshot report at 11 Bartemus Trail.
Upon arrival, officers found that a resident’s apartment had been penetrated by a bullet that had gone through their wall and ceiling, ultimately landing in their kitchen.
The bullet was suspected to have been fired from a neighboring apartment.
During the initial contact with officers, Chitroda denied discharging any firearms.
However, as the investigation continued at the scene, Chitroda admitted to detectives that he had discharged a firearm within his residence.
He did not contact authorities after firing the weapon, nor did he check on his neighbors. Consequently, he was charged with Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon.
Chitroda was released on personal recognizance and will be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court.
