FAIR HAVEN — A local woman has been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, according to the Fair Haven Police Department.
Kathleen E. Crossman, 41, of Hubbardton, was arrested on April 9 following an investigation into a car crash reported on Apple Tree Lane.
Upon their arrival at the corner of Apple Tree Lane and Carnarvon Street, officers discovered that a vehicle had struck a bus stop and then left the scene.
The subsequent investigation led them to identify Crossman as the suspect.
Crossman has been issued a citation to appear in Rutland District court to answer to the charges.
