JERICHO — A man from Burlington was arrested on June 19 after Vermont State Police responded to a report of a man acting unusually and driving onto a lawn.

Jonathan Vachereau, 38, faces charges of second offense DUI and operating with a criminally suspended license.

Police were notified at approximately 11:19 a.m. of a man who drove his vehicle onto a lawn in Jericho, then got out of his vehicle and began to exhibit strange behavior.

The caller reported that the man, later identified as Vachereau, applied deodorant to the back of his head and performed parkour – jumping on objects in the front and back yard, including a construction roller.

Upon arrival at the scene, Troopers identified the individual as Vachereau and noticed several indicators of impairment.

Further investigation revealed that Vachereau had driven to the location with a criminally suspended license.

Vachereau was arrested without incident and taken to the Williston Barracks for processing.
