SOUTH BURLINGTON — A 32-year-old woman from Richmond was arrested for DUI following an incident in South Burlington today.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle off the road near mile marker 89 on I-89 north at around 6:25 a.m.
While troopers were en route, the South Burlington Police Department responded to the scene and identified the driver as Sarah Davis.
Davis was transported to the UVM Medical Center for unrelated circumstances.
There were no injuries reported.
Shortly after, troopers met with Davis at the hospital.
While speaking with Davis, police say she displayed multiple signs of impairment.
She was taken into custody and processed at the UVM Medical Center for suspicion of DUI.
She was later released with a citation to appear in court for the charge.
