EAST KINGSTON — Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place in East Kingston yesterday.
The crash took place on Burnt Swamp Road at around 1:40 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene, while an adult female passenger was taken by medical flight, to a Boston area hospital.
Police say two children, a 9-month-old and a 3-year-old, sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
The deceased driver has been identified as Paul DiChiara, 27, of Newton, New Hampshire.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the East Kingston Police Department, East Kingston Fire Department, South Hampton Police Department, Brentwood Fire Department, and Amesbury MA Police Department.
