SALEM — A 37-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested following a police chase in Rockingham on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of a man in the Mall at Rockingham Park, who was wanted by the Salem Police.
A Salem patrol officer made contact with the man inside the mall who lied about his identity then took off on foot.
Police say a foot chase led to the outside of the mall where the man was apprehended after a struggle in the southeast corner of the parking lot.
One Salem detective suffered a minor injury during the incident.
The man was identified as Jacquelle Anderson, 37, of Manchester, NH.
Anderson was processed and held without bail.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Monday to answer charges of willful concealment, theft, 2 prior convictions, resisting arrest or detention, possession of crack cocaine, and probation violation.
