ST. JOHNSBURY — The Vermont State Police responded to reports of a physical altercation between two inmates at the Northeast Correctional Complex yesterday.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:03 pm and resulted in one party suffering moderate injuries.
Christopher Dezotelle, a 40-year-old inmate from Winooski, and Nathaniel Santiago, a 37-year-old inmate from Barre City, were both cited for simple assault
They were ordered to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on April 24.
The Northeast Correctional Complex houses around 126 inmates.
