MANCHESTER — Police arrested a 28-year-old man following an incident in Manchester yesterday.
On February 21, authorities say they arrested Jordan Newberry, of Meredith, after he was found to be in possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
This firearm came to the attention of Manchester police earlier this month.
Following an investigation, police identified Newberry and found that he was a convicted felon and prohibited from having a firearm.
Due to these findings, police charged Newberry with armed career criminal and changing marks on a firearm.
Newberry was released on a $2,500 bail and is scheduled for court on March 24.
