BARRINGTON — A 67-year-old man from New Hampshire was involved in a crash in Barrington today.
Authorities were notified of a commercial motor vehicle-related crash in the area of Franklin Pierce Highway at around 5:00 a.m.
Responding personnel observed a 2009 Peterbilt tractor with attached trailer resting on its side with the cab of the vehicle against a tree.
Police say the crash resulted in the contents of the trailer, household trash, being emptied across the road.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the crash.
The vehicle was placed out-of-service due to debilitating damage.
The road was expected to be closed for several hours while crews cleaned the area.
