NASHUA — A 31-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested following an incident in Nashua on Sunday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic violence call involving Sergio J. Burgos, of Nashua, and an infant known to him.
During the investigation, it was found that Burgos assaulted the infant.
Police say the infant child sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault.
He was arrested and charged with four counts of second-degree assault-domestic violence, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child or incompetent, a misdemeanor.
A class B felony is punishable by a term of imprisonment, exclusive of fines.
Burgos is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester, New Hampshire pending his arraignment.
