MANCHESTER — Police are investigating a robbery that took place in Manchester on Wednesday.
Authorities say they were notified of an armed robbery at the Dollar Tree on South Willow Street at around 9:50 p.m.
An employee told police that he had just locked up the store for the night and was walking through the plaza parking lot when he felt a hard object pressed against his back and heard a man say, “give me what you got.”
The victim emptied his pockets onto the pavement.
The suspect took some of the items and then left the area, heading west towards the rear alleyway of Michaels and Burlington Coat Factory.
Police say the victim could not get a detailed description of the suspect, only that he was 5’07” to 5’08” tall, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored sweat pants.
