LUNENEBERG — Authorities are still investigating after an explosion in Essex County injured a man last week.
On November 23, police were assisting a fire on Hill Road in Lunenberg that resulted in one man being sent to the hospital.
A contractor was working inside when an explosion occurred, destroying the 1 ½ story structure.
The man was transported to Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH.
He was severely burned and later transported to Boston for treatment.
The investigation into the origin and cause of this fire event is ongoing.
Police say they would like to hear from anyone who has information about this incident.
