CABOT — Police say they found a weapon on a truck in Cabot yesterday.
Authorities were notified of an abandoned truck on Elm Street, near the cemetery, at around 3:45 p.m.
While trying to identify the owner of the truck, police say they located a F.LLi Pietta black powder revolver.
Police say the weapon was secured and brought to the State police barracks in Berlin for safekeeping.
Police are requesting information about the owner so it can be returned.
