NORTHFIELD — A 37-year-old man was involved in a crash in Northfield early this morning.
Police say they observed a vehicle on the side of the road at the intersection of Gillespie Road.
The vehicle had been involved in a motor vehicle crash while traveling on Vermont route 64 at around 1:30 a.m.
The driver was identified as Ian Steffe, who had suffered minor injuries from the crash.
Following an investigation, it was found that Steffe was under the influence of intoxicants while operating the vehicle.
He was transported to CVH for treatment of his injuries.
