NEWPORT — A 35-year-old woman from Lowell who was wanted by local police was arrested.
NEWPORT — A 35-year-old woman from Lowell who was wanted by local police was arrested.
Shylo Bourdeau is facing charges of custodial interference, obstruction of justice, and impeding a public officer.
Police say they are continuing to investigate an incident that occurred on Main Street on August 29.
Prior to the arrest, Bourdeau was last seen fleeing from troopers on Main Street last week.
She was arrested during a traffic stop by Newport Police and the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department.
Bourdeau is currently at the Northern State Correctional facility.
