RUTLAND — A 45-year-old man from Mendon was arrested following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop for an observed motor violation on Strongs Avenue at around 5:20 p.m.
While speaking with the driver, identified as Bernard Tanner, signs of impairment were observed.
Tanner was also found to have a criminally suspended license and active pre-trial conditions of release that included not operating a vehicle.
He was placed into custody for the charges of DUI #3, violation of conditions of release, and DLS.
He was transported to the Rutland State Police barracks for processing.
Tanner was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Center.
