CLARENDON — A 62-year-old man from Rutland was killed after a crash in Clarendon on Friday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Cold River Road, near Windy Lane, at around 7:40 p.m.
The driver was identified as Robert Harrington.
Harrington was traveling north on Cold River Road before attempting to pass a vehicle while navigating a curve.
There was a vehicle approaching in the southbound lane and Harrington swerved to avoid striking the vehicle causing him to lose control, exit the road, and strike a tree.
He was transferred to Rutland Regional Medical Center where he ultimately died from injuries sustained during the crash.
