FAIRFIELD — A 61-year-old man from Bakersfield was arrested for DUI following a crash in Fairfield yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Egypt Road at around 4:40 p.m.
Following an investigation, police identified the driver as Phillip Gagne.
Police allege he had been operating while under the influence of alcohol.
Gagne was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Albans barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on July 5 to answer the charge.
