DUMMERSTON — A 39-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a crash in Dummerston yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Hague Road at around 5:20 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Luke J. Tyler, of Dummerston.
While speaking with Tyler, police say they observed several indicators of impairment.
Tyler was later transported to the hospital for additional medical evaluation.
Once discharged from the hospital, Tyler was arrested for suspicion of DUI and was transported to the Westminster barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on May 31 to answer the charge.
