PAWLET — Two people were cited for unlawful trespass following an incident in Pawlet yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a landlord and tenant issue on Vermont Route 30 at around 10:50 a.m.
The complainant, a 20-year old female, reported the trespassing complaint.
According to the report, Kay Mach, 68, of Pawlet, and Jodie Mach, 43, of the same place, were asked to leave the property prior to police response and refused to.
Police say both are the landlords of the property.
Police allege they had entered the residence unlawfully.
Both were issued citations to appear in court on April 25.
