BRANDON — Fire crews were dispatched to a chimney fire that broke out in Brandon on Monday.
The department was able to mitigate the emergency quickly.
At the scene, Brandon Ladder 1 was set up with two firefighters climbing the ladder to gain access to the chimney.
Another firefighter was operating the ladder on the carousel, while another was positioned to hand tools and equipment to the others.
The department said Brandon Engine 1 was ready to assist Brandon Ladder 1 with fire suppression if needed.
