ST. ALBANS — A 36-year-old man from St. Albans is being held without bail after being arrested on Saturday.
Authorities were notified that an inmate at Northwest State Correctional Facility was being released from federal sentencing at around 8:00 a.m.
Police say they found that Jason Cook had an active Vermont arrest warrant out of Caledonia County for failing to appear on a burglary charge.
Police also say that Cook had multiple active arrest warrants out of New Hampshire for failure to appear on felony charges.
He was arrested for the above warrants and ordered held without bail at Northwest State Correctional Facility.
He is awaiting arraignment in both Franklin and Caledonia County Superior Courts.
