QUECHEE — A 51-year-old man from Essex Junction was arrested for DUI following a bizarre incident in Quechee yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a black sedan driving erratically and attempting to intentionally hit other vehicles on the road on Interstate 89 south at around 9:00 p.m.
Police say they located the vehicle and made a traffic stop to investigate the reported information.
While speaking with the driver, identified as John Gilbert II, police say they suspected impairment.
Police say Gilbert was administered SFSTs and arrested for suspicion of DUI.
He was cited to appear in court for the charge.
