POWNAL — A 49-year-old man was seriously injured after a UTV crash in Pownal yesterday.
The crash took place in the area of Washing Brook Road at around 6:30 p.m.
According to the report, Ralph Wilcox, Tanya Taylor, and Eric Becker were riding in a CF Moto side-by-side at the time of the crash.
Police say it is suspected high rates of speed contributed to the UTV losing control and flipping completely over before coming to final rest.
All three occupants were thrown from the vehicle, causing severe bodily injury to Wilcox and moderate injury to Taylor.
Wilcox was transported to the Albany Medical Center for treatment as was Taylor.
Police are still investigating this crash.
