DUMMERSTON — A 32-year-old man from Brattleboro was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Dummerston early Thursday morning.
Authorities were notified of an unresponsive individual in the Sunoco gas station parking lot at around 2:15 a.m.
Police say they observed the vehicle being moved by the driver when they responded.
While interacting with the driver, identified as Christopher Baxter, signs of drug impairment were observed.
Police also say they saw a crack pipe as well as suspected heroin inside the vehicle.
During the search police say they located 3 grams of crack cocaine in his pocket.
The motor vehicle was seized and potential additional charges are possible, pending a search warrant.
Baxter was found to have numerous active sets of conditions of release, set by the court.
He was in violation of 17 counts of his conditions of release.
He was processed for the offense and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
