GUILFORD — A 39-year-old man from Brattleboro was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Guilford last week.
On July 16, authorities were notified of a complaint from Richmond Auto Repair located at Guilford Center Road at around 10:00 a.m.
Richmond Auto Repair reported the theft of a catalytic converter along with significant damage to a vehicle at their property.
Following an investigation, police arrested Kaleb J. Sherman.
Sherman was found to be in violation of conditions of release from prior criminal cases.
He was also found to have an active arrest warrant from Massachusetts.
He was taken into custody for the charges of grand larceny, unlawful mischief, violation of conditions of release, and being a fugitive from justice.
He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility, and held without bail.
