TROY — Police are looking for a man who tried to rob the Dollar General in Troy last night.
Authorities were alerted to the attempted armed robbery at around 9:00 p.m.
Investigators say a white male entered the store, displayed a weapon, and demanded money.
The man then fled the scene without being given money by the clerk.
Police began a search for the suspect with assistance from members of the US Border Patrol who also deployed a K9 unit.
Police say no arrest has been made yet.
