TROY — Veilleux Road covered bridge by River Road in Troy has collapsed due to a fire that broke out earlier today.
The road is currently impassable due to the fire and collapse of the bridge into the river below.
Authorities say the closure is expected to last until further notice when a replacement bridge is built.
Motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes.
