Burglary in Craftsbury

CRAFTSBURY — Police responded to a burglary in Craftsbury yesterday.

The incident took place on Black River Road.

The tenant of the home told police that when he returned home yesterday afternoon, he found the majority of the windows smashed and blood on the front door.

Police say an individual or individuals entered the home, caused damage to property, and left empty alcohol containers on the premises.

Neighbors also told police that they heard activity in the area between 1:00 a.m and 3:30 a.m yesterday morning.

Police are still investigating this case.
