NEWPORT — Green Mountain Farm-to-School will once again be participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

The Lunchbox truck recently came out of winter hibernation and is ready for an action-packed summer delivering free meals to kids 18 and under in the Northeast Kingdom

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Starting June 17 through August 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, lunch will be served at North Country Union Jr. High.

Wednesdays the truck will be in Barton, at the Academy & Graded School.

Thursdays it will be in Newport at Gardner Park.

On July 10, 17, and 24, again from 11-1, it will be parked in Brownington at the Old Stone House Museum.
