JAY — A 44-year-old West Virginia man was arrested for unlawful trespass and simple assault following a fight at Jay Peak yesterday.
Police responded to the resort after a fight was reported at around 10:55 p.m.
State Police were notified that a man, who was later identified as Alton Vogt, was actively fighting and had bitten one of the people present.
Jay Peak security subdued Vogt and police took him into custody when they arrived.
He was transported to North Country Hospital for his injuries.
Police say after being released from the hospital Vogt was Lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility.
